Recruitment for Players and Adult Volunteers

Player recruitment takes place throughout the year, with players assigned to the appropriate team for their age group. We take players at all skills levels and none. There is no need for players to have any previous experience. The club supplies shirts, shorts and socks but players will need to find their own football boots and shin pads, the wearing of which is compulsory at matches and training sessions.
The club is funded by players’ fees. These can be paid in a lump sum at the beginning of the season or by monthly standing order. There is also an annual signing-on fee, which is required and taken by Hampshire FA. The current fees are
Annual: £300 plus £50 signing-on fee (total £350)
Monthly: £25 per month by standing order plus £50 signing-on fee (total £350)
The Club awards 2-3 Scholarships a year to players where parents or carers are in financial difficulties. Enquiries should be made to the Secretary (see Contacts page)
